DC Harvest Launches Friday Lunch Service Tomorrow

DC Harvest (517 H Street, NE) will be launching Friday lunch service tomorrow, May 26th, from 11 am until 2:15 pm. The menu will be very similar to the restaurant’s weekend brunch menu but with a couple of additions including a grilled Chesapeake catfish salad and a fried old bay turkey sandwich. Reservations can be made either by calling the restaurant or through their website.
DC Harvest Offering Several Specials for Valentine’s Day

DC Harvest (517 H Street, NE) will be offering several specials for couples looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow. In addition to their current menu, there will be two appetizer specials (a Hawaiian kampachi crudo and white stone oysters with a pickled ramp crema), two entree specials (pan roasted veal strip steak with a brandy green peppercorn cream and quinoa encrusted scallops), and a dessert special for two (warm dark chocolate brioche bread pudding with a raspberry puree, salted caramel, and whipped cream). DC Harvest Serving Tasting Menu to Ring in New Year

DC Harvest (517 H Street, NE) will be ringing in the new year with a three course chef’s tasting menu complete with a champagne toast at midnight. Some of the features of the tasting menu include smoked Arctic Char, crispy duck confit, a wild mushroom napoleon, and a pistachio encrusted lamb sirloin. Anthology Open House Featuring DC Harvest Food

Anthology, the new apartment building opening at 625 H Street, NE, will be hosting an open house on Thursday (July 28th) from 5-9 pm featuring free food and wine from the DC Harvest team. DC Harvest’s New Menu Focuses on Fresh Summer Produce

DC Harvest 517 H Street, NE has rolled out several new seasonal menu items over the past couple of weeks to highlight the best in produce. Two appetizer salads, while very different from each other, both offer a variety of summer tastes. The snap pea salad complete with pea shoots and baby kale features a clever mix of a lime vinaigrette and a crispy coconut gremolata. The sourness of the lime and the sweetness of the coconut combine to create a refreshing summer starter. The arugula salad features a poppy seed vinaigrette, fresh fruit (blackberries the night we tried it), and goat milk mascarpone.
Grilled Lamb Burger at DC Harvest
On the entree front, DC Harvest’s classic Old Bay fried chicken now comes with a half ear of grilled corn with an ancho-orange rub as well as a small watermelon and cucumber salad. In addition, the grilled lamb burger has been added back onto the menu complete with summer garnishes of a green garlic aioli and a pickled green tomato. Diners can add bacon jam or a fried egg to the burger as well. The burger comes with a side of grilled corn and a delicious six bean herb salad. While it was a considerable amount of food with both entrees, District Cuisine’s team cleaned both plates.

DC Harvest (517 H Street) will be offering Father’s Day specials tomorrow for both brunch and dinner. At brunch, they will be offering $15 bottomless mimosas and $20 bottomless bloody marys. At dinner, when you buy 3 entrees, dad’s entree will be free. DC Harvest is now taking reservations for both seatings if you don’t have plans yet!

For example, Tuesday is now date night where you can get 2 cocktails, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert for $50 and Wednesday is now pasta night where you can get half off homemade pastas. DC Harvest Unveils New Years Eve Menu

DC Harvest (517 H Street) has released its menu for New Years Eve, and it features all new items. In addition to a three course meal, customers can chose to have their food paired with wine or craft cocktails. There will also be a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. We hope that the Florida Snapper Bahn Mi sticks around after New Years as well!
