Khepra’s Raw Food Juice Bar Moving on H Street

Future Location for Khepra’s Raw Food Juice Bar on H Street

Khepra’s Raw Food Juice Bar (402 H Street, NE) has been at its current location since it opened in 2011.  The juice bar will be moving a couple of doors down to 408 H Street, NE in the coming months (they tell us that they are waiting on a permit but are hoping to be open by March).

Bruery Close to Opening Near Union Market

The Bruery Store at Union Market

The Bruery–a California brewery that is opening a retail store near Union Market (513 Morse Street, NE next door to A. Litteri)-is close to opening.  A peek inside shows that the space looks complete and merchandise is beginning to be stocked.  Their Facebook page states:

We’re happy to announce that The Bruery Store at Union Market is nearly ready to open! Walls are being painted, lights are going up, and more importantly, beer is being stored. Final details are also being taken care of in order for us to firmly set and announce the official grand opening date.

Located at 513 Morse St. NE in Washington, D.C., the store will be open weekly from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday, upon opening.

Pluma by Bluebird Bakery Opening Soon in Union Market

Future Sites for Pluma and Shouk in the Edison at Union Market Building

Pluma by Bluebird Bakery (391 Morse Street, NE in the new Edison Building) plans to open soon near Union Market.  According to a Craigslist posting, Pluma intends to open in December.  Pluma is the brick and mortar version of Bluebird Bakery that had previously popped up.  According to a story from Washington City PaperPluma will “serve far more than breakfast pastries, including salads, sandwiches, Roman-style pizza, dessert, coffee, beer, and wine. The cafe will seat about 30 inside and will include outdoor seating as well for their morning-through-night service.”
