Tomorrow is the biggest day of the year for the H Street Corridor: 2017 H Street Festival!  Going from noon until 7pm (with many after parties), the Festival will take over H Street from 4th Street all the way to 14th Street.  It gets bigger and bigger every year.  Below are some of the culinary experiences the visitors can expect from restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.  Did we miss any?  Please reach out or tweet us!

  • Le Grenier (502 H Street): $19.95 brunch from 11am until 4pm, $3 Kronenburg beer until 7pm, $9 Merguez frites sandwiches until 7pm, chocolate mousse taster, and the restaurant will also be raising money for hurricane relief efforts throughout the day
  • DC Harvest (517 H Street): staying open all day with brunch service from 11-230, appetizer and bar service from 230-530, and dinner service from 530 to close, brunch special of fried green tomato with charred eggplant puree and dinner special of squid ink linguine with maryland crabmeat, melted heirloom tomatoes, roasted corn, thai basil, and crab roe butter
  • Big Board (421 H Street): patio with $5 drafts and chili dogs
  • Cusbah (1128 H Street): $4 Brooklyn lager, $5 Smirnoff, and $7 Jameson drink specials
  • The Queen Vic (1206 H Street): starting early at 9am with free Guinness Blonde tasting and then Liverpool FC vs. Burnley at 10am
  • Granville Moore’s (1238 H Street): tables removed from first floor to allow more people inside, patio outront with $5 Bavik Pils and Wittekerke and $8 Ommegang and Duvel drafts
  • Pow Pow (1253 H Street): food sold inside and in a tent outside of the restaurant and also selling Asian beers for the Festival (Pow Pow does not usually have alcohol sales)
  • Sospeso (1344 H Street): H Street Festival menu including $6 hummus, fried halloumi, porchetta sandwich, merguez kofte, Hellbender IPA for $5, and aperol spritz for $6
  • Redrocks (1348 H Street): $6 drafts, luau party on rooftop, games and beer garden out front of restaurant
  • Biergarten Haus (1355 H Street): doors open at 11am for start of Oktoberfest, patio out front featuring brats on a bun and Biers “Spaten Oktoberfest” and “Franziskaner,” and a variety of beers inside and on the back patio
  • Impala (1358 H Street)jumbo margarita for $18, Impala margarita for $7, pollo asado (grilled half chicken), carnitas (coca cola braised), pico and guac for $5, and elote loco (with jalapeno aioli) for $6
