2015 H Street Festival from the 2nd Floor of Red Rocks
This coming Saturday is H Street’s biggest day of the year: H Street Festival! From noon until 7 pm (with after parties going late into the night), H Street will be alive with tens of thousands of people. To help guide you during the Festival, District Cuisine has compiled fun restaurant specials, events, and deals from all across the H Street Corridor. - Driftwood Kitchen (400 H Street, NE): sidewalk tent with Devils Backbone beers and several drink specials.
- Uni Bistro (403 H Street, NE): open with full menu for all of Festival.
- Nando’s (411 H Street, NE): sample chicken wings in front of restaurant.
- The Big Board (421 H Street, NE): party with Port City Brewing Company on patio in front.
- Micho’s Lebanese Grill (500 H Street, NE): food and drink specials on patio as well as hookah.
- Le Grenier (502 H Street, NE): French street food and $3 beer.
- DC Harvest (517 H Street, NE): brunch and dinner service during Festival and bar open all day.
- Addis Ethiopian (707 H Street, NE): large patio out front with drinks and Ethiopian food.
- Po Boy Jim (709 H Street, NE): po boy eating contest at 6 pm and SweetWater beer specials.
- Mythology Restaurant and Lore Lounge (816 H Street, NE): new addition to H Street that has not officially opened; they will be offering preview menu during Festival.
- Chupacabra (828 H Street, NE): $3 Tecate, $5 for Tecate/soda/water and taco, $4 Dos Equis Amber, and $12 large margarita
- The Haymaker Bar (1015 H Street, NE): newly opened concept on H Street that will be serving three special punches starting at 1 pm.
- Little Miss Whiskey’s (1104 H Street, NE): large patio in front with drink specials.
- The Queen Vic (1206 H Street, NE): double decker Jameson bus in front of restaurant as well as pork belly lollipops and scotch eggs.
- Vendetta (1212 H Street, NE): patio with $7 Hurricanes.
- Sticky Rice (1224 H Street, NE): large patio in front with beer and tot bucket specials.
- Cusbah (1228 H Street, NE): several drink specials including $4 Brooklyn lager, $5 Smirnoff, and $7 Jameson.
- Pow Pow (1253 H Street, NE): meet and greet with the artist who designed Pow Pow’s giant mural; visitors can also purchase original art.
- Sol Mexican Grill (1251 H Street, NE): margaritas on sidewalk patio and DJ on second floor.
- Dangerously Delicious Pies (1339 H Street, NE): pie eating contest where winner gets a pie every month for the next year!
- Red Rocks (1348 H Street, NE): Guinness beer garden and DJs all day with major after party starting at 10 pm.
- Biergarten Haus (1355 H Street, NE):ceremonious tapping of a keg to begin Oktoberfest celebration; major patio in front of restaurant.
- Impala (1358 H Street, NE): Red Bull-aritas on the patio.
- IMM Thai (1360 H Street, NE): large patio with drink and Thai food specials.
