Location of Future Condos at 7th and H Streets
A fence was recently installed and barricades are now up for a construction project at the corner of 7th and H Streets, NE (down the street from the Apollo building). The section of the block from 646-654 H Street will soon be demolished to make way for condos and potentially office/retail space from the Rock Creek Property Group (check out the flier here). Once it is complete, the block will have completely been rebuilt with the exception of the Hikari Sushi building that will remain sandwiched in between the new building and the Apollo building. This project has been in the works for sometime, but it appears that demolition and the beginning of the project is now imminent.
