For Lease Signs Outside 1380 H Street

Two years ago, we reported that 1380 H Street would be opening as a new concept called OhZone Lounge.  The property has been abandoned for several years after The Ohio Restaurant closed several years ago following the tragic murder of the owner.

After two years of no news, it now appears that OhZone will not be coming to the space.  There are two For Lease signs up on the property, and a listing online.  Interestingly, the online posting notes that the space already has a liquor license and is approved for both a patio and a rooftop.  District Cuisine confirmed with ANC 6A that the property does in fact still have an active liquor license.
